JackOfAllTradesHub
Every account, one hand to play.
- What it is
- Desktop app, Social media tool
- Built with
- Next.js, TypeScript, SQLite, Gemini AI, Cloudflare Workers, OAuth
- Where it lives
- Installs on Windows with one setup file
The best parts
- One-click connect for Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn, plus Google for Gmail
- Studio: drop one video, the AI watches it, writes a caption for each platform, and posts to all of them
- Queue: drop many videos, get captions for each, and spread them across days and times automatically
- Compose: write once, get a caption tailored to each platform, edit it, and post now or schedule it
- Inbox: comments and emails are pulled in, the AI drafts replies in your voice, and you approve before anything sends
- Email: write or AI-draft emails, schedule them, and auto-reply to clean messages if you switch that on
- Analytics: followers and recent post results per platform, with totals across all of them
- Brain: tell it about your business once and every caption and reply uses it
- A scheduler that posts on time in the background, with the hub on a hidden local server and a Stop button
- Settings for the AI model and business name, music and sound toggles, and a holographic card home screen with live widgets
How it came together
A Windows app that runs on your own computer and puts every social account in one place. You connect each account once, then write, schedule and post to all of them, answer comments and email with AI help, and see how you are doing, without paying for a monthly social media tool.
The problem
Running a small business online means posting the same video to five apps, checking five inboxes and answering the same questions again and again. Tools that do it all charge every month, and each one wants your logins.
The approach
Build it as an app that lives on your own computer. Your accounts, your data and your AI key stay with you. Connect once, then write, schedule, reply and measure from one screen.
How it’s built
A Next.js app on a local SQLite database, with account tokens encrypted on disk. A background scheduler checks every 30 seconds and posts or emails on time. A small Cloudflare Worker handles the sign-in handshake so no secrets ship inside the download. Gemini writes captions, watches videos and drafts replies, and a Windows installer packages it all into one file.
What shipped
A working app with a single installer, one-click connect, bulk video scheduling, AI captions and replies, email scheduling and auto-reply, analytics, and a start and stop button. Real posts have gone out to Instagram, Threads and Facebook.
What we took from it
A product for someone else is mostly about what can go wrong on a computer you cannot see: large uploads, expired tokens, and secrets that must never be in the download. Testing from a clean copy mattered more than testing in the dev folder.
